Religion is invented by the inability to accept death

Death to me is the discontinuation if consciousness. Just like when you are in a dreamless sleep, there is zero awareness of self and of the surrounding. It is tremendously difficult, given our limited abilities of comprehension to understand what death would feel like, given that upon death, one would not even be concious.

I think that most religion came about much the same way as myths and legends; from our need to find an explaination which we cannot understand.

Many religion contains account of life after death, such as existence of spirits, ghosts, heaven and hell.

All these make up the bulk of most religion, and are “entities” that cannot be scientifically proven to be true. They provide convenient explainations to death which we are otherwise unable to comprehend.
