Haha… Weikiat’s bunkmate overheard their very fierce sergeant playing pokemon telling another sergeant, ’see my pikachu so happy’. LOL… It seems like the fierce people are so bored that they have to resort to playing pokemon. LOL…

Another point to note is that weikiat has been receiving calls from SMU the past week but he unfortunately missed all the calls. I helped him email the admissions office and was told that weikiat has been shortlisted for an interview with the SMU School of Information Systems. Good for him :)

Today is weikiat’s 10th day in there. He had route march this morning and he returned with blisters on his feet due to the boots being too big for his feets and thus the friction caused blisters. It was quite bad for him as he had never experienced blisters before (yes, he is a so-far-blister-less-boy) and always thought that blisters on my feet were scary. Haha… And the worst thing was that his blister burst and it was even more painful. Poor weikiat, he had no medicated stuffs to apply to heal the wound faster and no tissue paper, no plaster to protect his wound. Poor boy… And he is feeling extremely tired from that 1hr march. How is he going to make it through the foot drills this afternoon?

Weikiat did his strength training this morning and he claims that he will be able to carry me over his head. Haha… Let’s hope he trained on 80kg weights. ;P

It is weikiat’s day 8 there and I think he should be feeling a lot better now. He is more used to life without his laptop, PSP, and most importantly, gf :)

On Wednesday, weikiat did shit work for the obese company who is passing out that day. There was also the stand by bed.

He will be having his swimming test (most probably, if he can) tomorrow, and route march on Sunday. Monday would be to the Discovery Centre.

Ok, the above information was given by weikiat through an sms on Wednesday.

Why am I cursing him?

He told me he would sms me everyday to report about his day there, and I will post whatever he smsed me onto his blog. But up till today, the 5th day, he has not even smsed me anything post-able.
Urgh…

But I think he is beginning to get used to the life there, and beginning to get used to losing his freedom. Haha…

Day 4.

Weikiat is already super stressed, and headache-ing. He yearns to come out of that island; he wants time to pass quickly; he feels that waiting till next friday is too long for him; he wants out of course after seeing a few people out of course, packing up, and going home.

Good thing his buddy assured him that the 1st 2 weeks is like that. His buddy told him that the 1st 2 weeks will be very ****ed up, and the other weeks will be better. I hope so too.

Yesterday was weikiat’s 3rd day at Tekong, and he is starting to learn the foot drills. It was hilarious when weikiat told me that he could not understand the commands initially and when people turn to their left, weikiat turned to his right. Haha…

Nothing much yesterday. Today will be the start of his physical training, but due to headache, he has been given light duty for 2 days.

Yesterday was his 2nd day there.

He sent me this sms:

V sian lah.. Our platoon sergeant so fierce. Tsun Lam (an AJ friend) one v gd lor.
Then the water got things floating inside one. Ek.

Yucks! Water got things floating inside can drink meh? My 1st reaction was that that was really unhygienic and luckily weikiat loves drinking tap water at home and his immune system should be strong enough to withstand germs from the worms and flies floating inside.

Also, I can tell that he is really sad there but I cannot do anything to help. I feel so useless. My bf is suffering in that island and I can only sms him encouraging stuffs to make his stay there a bit better. That’s all. I can’t do anything else. :(

Ok, it seems that his officer is some noob, and he thinks that being hard on the recruits is the right way to shine. And that noob even got scolded by people of higher rank for being too fierce. LOL.
