As you all know I am using a rather unique piece of in ear monitor, the Ultimate Super.Fi 5 Pro which costs almost as much as an iPod and sounds simply fantastic. It has very good seal (meaning when you wear it, it blocks out most of the sound outside and hear nothing but your music). Of course, this had led to many moments where I suddenly notice those around me looking at me and then “soundlessly” wagging their mouth at me. What I normally do is to point at my earphone stuck deep inside my ears and they would give up and wag their mouth at someone else instead.

And that brings me to this post. There are certain group of people who are simply damn inconsiderate in my opinion. Not only do they wag their mouth non-stop, they also like to do it when my iPod is playing my favourite song, and they would stare with me with such intensity while wagging their mouths that I have no choice but to take out on earphone to listen to them, throwing me rudely out of my sonic heaven. Also, because of the nature of IEM, you have to insert the earphones deep into your ear canal for it to have optimal sound. How would you like it when you have to keep reinserting something into your ears every few minutes?

I am very particular when it comes to listening to music and I do not like my music to be interrupted. Damn those guys.
