Windows Vista is too new and unstable for me to use it yet. But my old mac-ish interface I see until sian, so I made some changes to make it look more like vista!
I am too lazy to write a detailed guide on how to make it look like this, but you can just google for it. There are many many ways to do so.

is there at least a name for the program you used by any chance? thanks.
For changing the look of windows explorer toolbar, use Styler.
For the mac dock on the right, use Yz Dock
To use custom visual style (make yr comp look like mac, vista etc) on the computer, use a uxtheme.dll patch, and get your visual style from sites like themexp.
I use a program called HSI to make the 45px width on the right of the screen unavailable to applications even when it is maximised, so that the dock is always visible. The transparency of the taskbar at the bottom is also done using HSI.
For taskbar preview, use Visual Task Tips.
I also used Vista Cursor and Sound packs.
There are many vista transformation packs that settles everything in one package, but they make many changes to yr comp which may be irreversible and cause problem on your comp. Stay away from them if possible, although they can achieve very good result.
