The moment I met her she lighted up my life;
I had to do my maths homework no longer.
She sat beside me during maths class,
to let me copy and copy and copy.
She took me around Singapore like a tour guide,
my brain spin and spin.
What bugis, orchard, suntec,
become like my second home.
Our first movie together:
Hide and Seek.
She hide and I seek;
seeking for her love.
Right there at changi airport,
I confessed my love and I choked.
She laugh at me and said no,
so I act pitiful till she say yes.
I changed my class and failed my maths,
yet our link is never broken.
She loves me and I love her,
that will never change.
Days become weeks,
weeks become months,
like an old lady’s nagging,
our love never dies.
Conflict happened and war broke out,
heated arguments and things turned violent.
The stupid idiotic me hit her,
and hit her really hard.
Tears came out of her,
spraying like a fountain.
I realized my mistake and hugged her close to me.
I never hit her from that day.
Miracle happens.
I’ll pick up my handphone,
and out of a sudden her sms arrived.
The same thing happened to her too.
Not just sms,
for many things we do,
we seem to know what each other is doing,
perhaps we are a match made in heaven.
Months become years.
I am certain she is the one.
She is certain I am the one.
We are each other’s one and only.
Her creativity is unmatched,
perhaps only lose to mine.
She gives me surprises
that brings shame to Kinder Surprise.
Future lies ahead,
sweet memories filled the past.
With her hand in mine,
we walk down the path.
She is my life, my universe, and my everything*.
She is my Forty-Two*.
